Re: WANTED: Podium Dancers Aren't we all?! Did you ever find any DJs, by the way? http://www.promisealways.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25192 Or is this just another scam?
Re: Re: WANTED: Podium Dancers that's been on just about every board on the internet. Fucking small agencies, most of them are utter shite.
Re: Re: Re: Re: WANTED: Podium Dancers exactly... in todays market where EVERYONE is a DJ and everyone is really good - you can't just send out a load of CD's and expect people to come running to your door. There's so much competition you've got to work harder and harder to get anywhere....
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: WANTED: Podium Dancers Well, right now my mam's downstairs. Don't know about her mixing ability but I heard she plays some bangin tunes when she wants to (And I'm certainly not a dj, so that counts out me!)
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: WANTED: Podium Dancers quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Originally posted by recordsss apparently you're never more than 10ft from DJ. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- He'd get closer but the judge said he's not aloud
actually - despite all advice, i have just registered with Uk-Djs and paid the yearly fee - I do demo CDs all the time, get to know promoters etc - it's a constant struggle - I reckon it couldn't hurt to have a little help...I got in touch with a couple of the DJs on there and they said that they actually HAD got gigs, been put on record company mailing lists etc......so fuck it, it's worth a go - if nowt happens I'll know to avaid things like this in future anyway - watch out for my profile soon (Rich Carrick)
