My mates selling Vestax PDX 2000's and a Pioneer DJM 600 mate which is somewhere in this forum !

Marcelliot he's called but he's on holiday at the moment !

I think he wanted £1250 or maybe more but that was with alot of records - im sure if ya wanted the decks + mixer he would be able to flog the tunes on seperately !

I have alot on vinyl but i'm gonna rip it all into high bit rate mp3 because I can't be bothered having it all at my flat taking up space.

    UPDATE.

Bought a pair of pdx2000 and a pmc03 for £520 off ebay last night so Im just after a final scratch now.

agreed. theres nothing better than touching up a 12" plastic one. or something :p ;)

ive only used cd dex now and again and its normally for samples or looping.... go for vestax over technics rob.. tech's just frustrate me with there very limited pitch rate! :)

the ones in always are shit, they are just 500s. the pioneer CDJ 1000 are amazing tho.

they are just like using vinyl. u can stop it, touch the platter, put in cue points, eveything.

i would probs just go for that rob! but youve bought decks now i suppose....

if you have to pitch a song above +5 or -5, then there is little point in playing it, cos your totally destroying the song, and how its supposed to sound! vestex asre kiddy decks! :p

    i  my 1200's! :)

Don't be slagging off my new toys now!

I never intend on attempting to DJ in a club so I'm not tied down to buying Technics. I've not read a review yet that says technics are better that pdx2000. Fair enough if you want to DJ in a club buy Technics, that aside I can see no reason other than so you can say 'I own technics' which is also not something I care about.

To say using the Pioneer cd players is like using a deck is wrong. They are very good but still totally diffrent.

    IMHO :p

    oh well :p

i think they are really like decks...but with added features! the cue button makes it easy to cue the tune, cosu dont have to keep spinning the record back...

In Prague i seen a lad DJ'in on just CD decks as in this club i stumbled into a trance room !

They had 2 CDJ1000's and a Pioneer DJM600 - the lad was only young and had shit loads of CD's but was a hell of a DJ (couldnt speak a fucking word of English) - he was pitching them in withing 5/6 seconds then just waiting and mixing away - i was more than impressed and in my pissed/fucked state told every fucker i was with the rest of the night !

I only came across the room as i thought i could hear "NU NRG - Dreamland" then in i went !

Ended up smoking his weed and falling asleep in the booth - all he had wanted was for a light
