I know someone that puts them together but I'd need more of an idea as to what you want. I couldnt discuss it with him without more info cos I aint got a clue bout this kinda stuff at all
Cheers Bri mate, I have up to around £500 to spend, I'll check PC world this weekend. Amy - Thats the point, I really don't know what I am talking about!
yeh, for a first comp just buy it whole... it's only really cheaper when you have a few components you can keep, thats how i do things... keep things that dont need to be replaced, and buy new components... hell, my comp started as a pc world comp... although it is completely different to how it was then
ahhh shite... i replied to the other post .... get something like a AMD XP 2600 atleast or a P4. you want 512MB ram (memory is cheap enough) and about a 80gig HD. Up to you if u want a graphics card, depends if you're gunna play games on it. i don't (thats what mi PS2 is for) so i've got a cheapo old Voodoo 3. Get a nice combi DVDROM/CD-R/RW writer drive. only about £50 - £60 quid, or even better, i've seen a lovely Pioneer 106 DVD-r/+r CD-R/RW drive for £130! PM us if u want any more info
