    Wanted - Decent PC

I know a few of u build pc's on here and I'll be after a new one in about 4 or five weeks.
I basically want something that can run Reason, is powerful enough for Broadband, quite a large harddrive, Cd rom and re-writer.
Can any1 give me any specs/estimates?
My monitor should work fine with any other pc shouldn't it?

Sorry, I aint really got a clue:)

Out in the sticks cool as fukk gang! :)
yeh, for a first comp just buy it whole... it's only really cheaper when you have a few components you can keep, thats how i do things... keep things that dont need to be replaced, and buy new components...

hell, my comp started as a pc world comp... although it is completely different to how it was then :p

    :)

ahhh shite... i replied to the other post ....

get something like a AMD XP 2600 atleast or a P4. you want 512MB ram (memory is cheap enough) and about a 80gig HD. Up to you if u want a graphics card, depends if you're gunna play games on it. i don't (thats what mi PS2 is for) so i've got a cheapo old Voodoo 3. Get a nice combi DVDROM/CD-R/RW writer drive. only about £50 - £60 quid, or even better, i've seen a lovely Pioneer 106 DVD-r/+r CD-R/RW drive for £130!

PM us if u want any more info
