I've got a 20" old Compaq one sitting in my spare room but not got the lead for it as it was lost in the move. Got the power cable but not the monitor/pc lead. Free to a good home... providing you can get the required cable. If you (or anyone else) wants it, I can find out what cables are required and how much they may cost.

Sounds good. Is the conection for the wire missing the same on either end? If it is it should be hard to get a hold of.

I'll have a look tonight and let you know tomorrow. I'll give one of my mates a shout to see if he's got any cabling he can post up...

Only prob is you'd have to collect as I've no transport and I don't fancy trying to carry it anywhere on the Metro!

Got standard 15pin connections and RGB.

15pin's you can get for about under a tenner.

Hi Definition RGB cables you can get for about £15

Nee bother... I'm thinking its gonna be a bit of a beast to carry aye??

If it definitely works then I'll definitely take it off yer hands. I'll just have to get a mate with a car to give me a hand.

Can I ask why its a spare??

Got it from a friend of mine who moved with his job a while back. He had no need for it. Up until the move, he was using it in his office and it's in full working order as far as I'm aware; I doubt he would've given me it otherwise.

I've no need for it at the minute either as I use my laptop in the house and got a 17" monitor and docking station elsewhere. I'm moving house in a few weeks anyway so it saves me taking it with me.

To be honest though, I've had it in my spare room for about a year and not even turned it on! I'll see if I can use the cable out of my other monitor (if it's not attached) and test it first though, don't want you to have a wasted trip...

Aye, it's a fair weight!

Can't get cable I'm afraid, mine's fixed to the back. Can't find one at work to lift either!!! I'm sure it's in perfect working order though, I'll give my mate a bell tonight to confirm.
