Just installed it from our Dublin and winnersh sites back up to newcastle, It was ball ache but its workign sweet now.. Dont use it persoanlly at home tho
yeah thats what im looking into for work. How hard was the installation and what company are you with?
We used avaya as the supplier for the hardware but it runs over cisco routers, I did a bit of it in my CCNA but not near enough to prepare me for the roll out so we had Avaya consultants on site who charge mopre than a high class hooker in LA
if you dont mind me asking how much do you think it wqould cost for a small company to set up using it for long distance calls all day.
We have just had a VoIP solution installed so that one of our directors can call from Dubai for free, and have calls patched to him as though he was sitting in his office! Don't know how much it cost but it's been done by Sumlock Electronics.
Thats not really a true VOIP as you want to connect to an exchange to make internal calls, A true VOIP solution uses interconnected data networks and uses the bandwith for voice, for example we have 155MB links between our sites so we dicieded to route calls along the data network meaning we dont have to pay BT to route the calls, If you wanting to make outside line calls your always gonna have to pay someone at some point
ovbiously theres gonna be costs BUT its a lot cheaper than actually making the calls from a landline?
Jambon be honest, there real reason you want to know about it is so you can call as many girls from faceparty as possible. To stand a better chance of pulling
