1mbit is the maximum at the consett exchange anyway. so I can whore all I like and don't get throttled... not much of an incentive to stop if you ask me

Are you going through cable of through the phoneline??? When I had 10 mb at home through cable it hit 10 mb all the time

Tbh, i've never really noticed changes in speed and whatnot, and i havent had any of this mad post arrive telling me to stop downloading etc. i dont really know what package i've got either - i think sticking to ignorance is the best policy.
