When Matt first started this project he thought that he would be able to find inspirational speeches from American presidents to layer over the tracks in the mix. Almost needless to say, finding subject matter along these lines wasn’t really possible. He changed the project to show the fact that the garbage that’s being spewed by Bush currently isn’t anything original. The mix starts and finishes with genuine words from John F Kennedy and sandwiches words from less popular leaders including Bush senior, Bush Junior, and of course Nixon wasn’t overlooked. Another piece of the project was to make all track transitions extended. All transitions are 3 or more minutes. As always, mixed and mastered using Ableton Live 5.2.
