    I think the most recent time VW played up in newcastle was when he played at WHQ, maybe about 18months ago...if im not mistaken, Hooked was still a little night at Enigma (across the road from WHQ) then

    Aye before that he played at Reverb at the Castle Keep.

    Its strange how techno is in vogue now when its always been a qualilty form of dance music.


    Not that i am complaining.

    He played for us at whq in may 2005, which is the last time he's been here.

    Before that it was reverb at the castle keep - he's never played freaky james :) - he played reverb a few times, including the tanners on my birthday once too, which was canny :D

    Sorry had in my head it was freaky pretty long weekend at the time.

    Really enjoyed him at the keep the dj box was the strangest ever as well.

    Ive liked techno since i was 19! I had no option but to listen to it - thats what spending 3 years in Germany does! I was screwing my face to minimal and nailing techno in Tresor's vault well before scenesters like you jumped on the bandwagon. ;)

    Chris - get him booked, ill definately turn up now techno is cool again.

    I know it has, i love the old detroit sound! Its just no where near as popular as it was back in the day. ;)
