The two promoters behind VICE club have over 17 years experience between them. Kerry James in particular has been involved in the hard-dance scene since it first came about, and as such has made contacts with various dj’s and promoters on the scene. The D.J’s you mentioned have been booked by other Northeast promoters, before Cause and Effect, Detox, and VICE club ever existed, some of the DJ’s you mentioned were booked by Kerry James several years before any of the above nights existed, so I very much doubt that Detox or Cause & Effect would ever accuse VICE club or their promoters of ripping them off. Ask them yourself.
Certain Hard-Dance Dj’s are very popular, and our crowd push to have them booked, and as such, we book them. So do other nights, that’s the way it works – we also book D.J’s that are less well known, most recently JP & Jukesy. As for our present venue, I would hardly call a bar, a dance floor, an outside marquee and a terrace a ‘cereal bar.’ It certainly isn’t the size of Digital, but then that’s the whole point. Great atmosphere, jumping dance floor, and people having a fantastic time from start to finish. It seems you have come on here, with absolutely no idea of the real facts, and quite frankly I’m not sure what your point actually is now? No, we haven’t ripped of any other night (for all of the reasons mentioned above,) and if you don’t like Whitby, fine, don’t come!

Who would you suggest they book for this kind of night then because most on the countrys big name DJs have played up here any ammounts of times

You couldnt be more spot on you book these djs because they make the crowd if you didnt there would be no vice, you see other nites come and go because they dont have the brains to please the crowd they please the promoters........As for the venue who wants a bigger venue, the event is still a young event if it grows then maybe a bigger venue will be needed if it had of started at digital there would be no more vice..

i think vice headliners are shit, thats cos i dont like hardhouse - but im happy to see a new night doing so well, keep it up vicky and kerry

Went to Vice when they had the second room with the local lads on when it was at Attic. Shite venue but a cracking crowd upstairs
