VCr2 @ Stylus, Saturday 7th July 2007 We kicked things off on Leeds Canal on Saturday 5th May. One boat, a hundred dedicated clubbers, a beautiful May sunset and 5 of the world’s best hard dance DJs who rocked it out and started VCr2 as it means to go on. But after the huge success of the VCr2 warm up, we’re now onto the main event… VCr2 @ Stylus, Saturday 7th July 2007 After the many venues VC has visited, Stylus is the one that suits the brand more than any other. VCr1 couldn’t have worked any better, but VC HQ is always up to the challenge. Which is why we have a very special pre-party planned for a few lucky guests as well this cracking line up… The second outing of Vicious Circle in Leeds will see legend Captain Tinrib make his VCr debut. Since he fled to New Zealand last year, trips back to the UK are few and far between. But we have snapped The Captain up on a rare visit back. The last time he joined a VC line up was at I Love VC at The Fridge in 2005, where in true Tinrib form, he thrashed out one of his legendary live performances to over 1000 adoring fans. Over a year on, and he’s back. With what will no doubt be a performance filled with enough energy to blow the roof of Stylus right off! Our next very special guest is none other than Trade legend Steve Thomas. A close friend of Vicious Circle for many years, Steve is no stranger to VC line ups. Like The Captain, I Love VC in London was the last time he played for a VC crowd. But Steve is ready to take on the northern crowd of VCr at Stylus. And because we’re greedy, we have another special guest, who goes by the name of Lady Bianca. One of the few female DJs to come on board with VC, Lady Bianca has recently received resident status at Trade. It has been a long time coming but we have finally synchronised our diaries and are counting down the days until the beautiful and 100% genuine Lady blesses the decks of Stylus. VCr2 will also see a Back2Back debut. Andy Farley & Nik Denton come head to head for a 2 hour onslaught as part of the Toolbox V tour. Another special announcement about this set will follow… And need we say it, Mr Vicious himself, Paul Glazby will be there to make VCr2 what it is. Without him, there wouldn’t be a party in the first place. We give thanks to Glazby for having the balls to set up the best Hard House label in the UK and beyond. And last but by no means least… a VC party wouldn’t be a VC party without Ben Stevens. In the words of production genius Paul Maddox after the VCr2 boat party, ‘I forgot how much of a fucking wicked talent Ben is’.
