    USB Problems

got a digi camera and loaded everything up as required, only when I go to download images it says camera not found.
tried using a memory card reader in case there was a cemra fault but absolutely nowt happened.

Is there a way to check the status of your USB port or do you have to activate it manually etc?

any help would be appreciated as I'm a clueless mook.

What operating system are you using?

If it's not XP you will have to install the drivers for the device manually.

Try using a different USB port- sometimes when I install something new, the first USB port I use, doesn't recognise the camera/modem etc- dunno why tho
