    USB 3g "mobile" broadband problems

I'm stuck in a contract on a mobile 3g Dongle (USB stick thingie) which does work and is great, but when it is installed I can't connect to my work lan (after unplugging/restarting) - and at home it will no longer play ball with Wireless internet.

I can get on the LAN part of it, but not the next step which is the internet.

The only way i can get it to work is to uninstall the dongle (fuck-on) and restart - then it all works again.

Does anybody know if there's a patch available, or is this some kind of IRQ resources issue?

I use this regularly for work and never have issues between networks.

So you say you can connect to the work LAN? but not internet?

What does an ipconfig /all show you? sounds like you're not getting a default gateway

It has the two computer LAN icon, which would normally have a world icon indicating internet access.

Instead, I get a LAN icon (i can't see anything else on the network such as printers though).

The LAN icon has an exclamation mark saying Limited or No Connectivity.

Describe what you'd like to see (i.e. before/after gateway settings?) and I'll upload them here if you like? Help would be massively appreciated...
