    USB 2.0 confusion..

I just plugged my microsd card reader into a 4-port hub that's connected to one of the usb ports on the back on my pc and got prompted with this. Can someone explain what it's trying to tell me cos I'm clueless.

1 of the items you've plugged in, is USB1.1 and not version 2.. Whether thats your motherboard or the USB hub.

in other words, it's much MUCH slower.

I've never had that msg before, and the usb hub is supposed to be usb 2 or 1.1. I've just checked and my mobo has 4 2.0 ports on the back.

I don't understand what that msg box means cos it looks like it's prompting me to plug it into one of 6 ports? There's only 4 :s

ONE of the devices is USB1.1 somewhere in the chain.

plug the card reader directly into the back see what happens
