Upgrade Bought time to just got 512mb today and what a difference only had 64mb of memory which was shit so now everything working fine
You need a gig for stuff like Doom 3 and Far Cry to run at their best. 1 gig is also good for running with no swap disc too
Got a gig in this box and it runs like a dreeeeeam Doesnt touch the swapfile cos it doesnt need to Thats the difference with windows, it uses the swapfile (which is slow and slows down machine) regardless of if u have enuff ram or not! :spangled: Never seen the logic in that one!!
I wouldn't buy off them.. I used to work 4 them and I know exactly how they treat there customers.. Ie.. "We are right b4 the customers.."

Yeah but 99% of people don't play these games or know what a swap file is. For normal win xp activities you cannot tell the difference between 512 and 1 gig without running benchmarks so therefore it's all a bit pointless imho.
