    www.mandrake.com - nice user friendly linux distro if u wanna give a try.

    Red Hat as well, great OS's if you intend to run a server as there stable as hell.

    For normal Desktop stuff tho, its not really worth the hassle.

    Just seen a few thing about it but dunno waht its all about really except its an alternative to windows... is it any gud?

    Just curios thats all... thirst for knowlodge! LOL

    tis awesome!

    one of most stable os' available.....

    tis open source as well.....

    free is the main advantage (linux not unix)

    altho linux is mearly a clone of unix..

    no good for the average joe bloggs @ home tho...not enuff support from major software develoeprs....so no MS word etc ;) (unless u run windows emulator..)
