United 93 i don't think they will ever really come close to summing up the terror that the people on board the flights involved in 9/11 felt before their deaths. however this film is brilliantly directed, and you get a real feel for the sense of panic and desperation right from the off. 9/10
Great film, although very difficult to watch at times. Portrays the fear without suggesting 'all muslims are evil' like most other films/documentary programs on the subject.
i'm not sure about films like this - how much do we know is based on fact? it's like JFK, 50% fact yet it's BELIEVED to be true i watched 'the queen' too recently - also - how much do we know actually happened and how much is artistic licence i'm sure i'll enjoy it - but feel uneasy at the same time
i think this is the reason why i appreciated United 93 so much - there was nothing in it i didn't know already from reporting of the event. it didn't try to fill in any gaps, just got on and told the story.
bit late i know but i just watched this film and it was horrible and very frustrating at times even though i knew what happened still them fighting back how brave and it frustrated me how long it took to actually belive they were in the middle of a hijack then the comments at the end about making calls and shit like that upset me but was good to watch
it was nothing but speculation.... it didn't tell the story, it invented it.... the only factual(ish) element was the traffic control scenes.
Exactly- if it crashed into the ground then why was debris found overal a several mile radius? Which would suggest it was shot out of the sky. Also, apparently people used their mobiles, despite the fact that there is no network coverage 30000 ft in the air.
