I can sorta touch-type, but I type far too fast and my words come out muddled up, like "teh" instead of "the", for example. This is why I usually dont touch-type.

You jus get used to it though. I had a computer sicne I was about 7 (Commodore 64), I've used one at school/college since I was 11, and I've had this baby a year and a half.

I still got my Commodore, yeh. They were the first domestic PC, and were real advanced for their time. That was what, fourteen years ago? And look where we are now! Scary really.

Only game I remember having was Dancing Monster on magnetic tape :S

I don;t really feel the need to set the Commodore up anymore, considering I got this baby running with AMD Athlon 1.5 GHz, 256Mb SD RAM and a GeForce 2 MX :)() graphics card ;)

    heres my try:

Rifhty priplr, obb brrn ytyung to di thst thuinmh, thgubn, the pmr ehrtr yoi loo; s yht ,pmyuor anf tupr, eithpoy lookimjh ay yjr jrubodtf. iuf wiote hsrf byt u sn gettund thete, So dbereyne rty tyoimf thid osrsfes[k asfsn eithoiy lookimh sy thr kruf. Snd fomt fo bsvh yo vottrvy sny modydltf.

That was so much harder than i thought it would be. I actually only managed 3 successful words "to" and "the" in the first line and "So" in the third line".

    It takes time....

It takes time to be able to touch type. Then, it will take you more time to improve your speed of the touch typing method.

I have been 'touch typing' in excess of several year now.

Ah the spectrum and commadore.... semi-oldies.... I could go older :p
