Tyler Stadius - Fragile @ World HQ (Thursday 14th August)

FRAGILE Launch Party @ World Headquarters, Newcastle.

    Thursday 14th August.

    Tyler Stadius (Fabric, London)
Paul Lancaster (Sabotage / Climax Recordings / CP Recordings)
    Andy Walker (Fragile)

    10.30pm - 2.30am
    £5 entry

FRAGILE is a new bi-monthly club night in town committed to bringing some of the worlds best underground DJs and producers here to the North East.

With a music policy of sleazy house, progressive, tribal, tech-house and breaks the emphasis will be on creating an intimate party vibe for a crowd of like-minded people who are looking for something that little bit special!

Tyler Stadius is one of Canada's finest DJs and was one of the first DJ's to introduce house music to Vancouver, spinning at all the warehouse parties and raves since the early 90s.

Over the years his mix tapes and cd's have received outstanding reviews by respected publications such as, Muzik, DJ, Mixer, URB, XLR8R, & iD and he has played at some of the best club nights in the world including The Shelter & Red Dog in Chicago, DIY / Bounce, Back to Basics, The Rex in Paris, Space at Bar Rhumba, Tribal Function, Radius, Wiggle, and Fabric.

Tyler is also now a regular favourite at the world famous Fabric in London and even has a Fabric compilation CD under his belt that was released last year.

Playing the very best in tripped out, dubby house, tech-house, techno, breaks and everything else in between, Tyler is flying direct from Vancouver to play in Newcastle for the opening night of his world tour and this is one of only 3 UK dates he is playing this year!

Little heavy on tech and slightly lacking in funk for the kind of stuff i buy but thats splitting hairs and I'm pretty sure i'll be down for this one. The new WHQ is def the best venue in town.

Please book Jason Hodges/Brett Johnson someone of that ilk and i'll be happy for once.:D ;)

If you like Brett Johnson you'll love Tyler. This guy is seriously talented and one of the best DJs out there at the moment.

If people get behind the opening night with Tyler I was thinking of booking Cass (Sabotage / Fire Recordings / Cass & Slide) for the next one.

Loads more great DJs and music lined up for the future!

Best of luck with the night mate!

Going to be a class night, look forward to it. By far the best night on in town in august (apart from resistance).

Thought you were putting the night on at the cluny? WHQ is a much better venue. Nice one!!

    NIIIIIIIIIIICE!

If I'm not in Ibiza I'll definately be there for this! Never thought I'd seet he day someone like Tyler Stadius would play in Newcastle!

Paul, a recommendation:- American-based DJ by the name of Rachael Starr.
Plays of a similar style to Jay Tripwire/Mazi, which would make her also like Mr Stadius. Outstanding!
