Can 1 license be brought and used for a number of TV’s for different people with in 1 house?

I would recommend buying one instead - but one per household is OK. We had approx 10/12 in our old student house and all shared the bill for the license.

There's some wierd rule about whether the rooms are individually lockable, so are more like bedsits, or something. As long as you get one for the house, you should all be OK though.

Yup totally depends on the kind of accommodation. Where i lived in first year of uni (student flats) everyone needed a seperate one for their room because they're let as individual entities and have a lockable door (so we just had one in the living room).

In a proper house you probs don't need one.

I think you can either get some money back when you move and cancel it, or you can transfer it to another property.

One per tenancy agreement. But if one person has a license and tey come to check, you can take your TV out of your bedroom and into the shared bit of the accomodation and it\'s fine

You can claim back money on the license if you move away and have a quarter of a year left on the license

how wud they know from outside which room had a tv in? If you have a licence for the house they wudn't waste thier time coming out. Its not like they have any powers to enter your house anyway.
