TV Cards & PS2s... Here's another one for you guys to figure out for me So I can't be arsed to haul a TV to university, because I don't really watch TV too much, and I can watch DVDs on my PC. However, I want to be able to use my PS2 and someone told me that it was possible to buy a TV card for your pc, and then you can plug your PS2 into that and play the PS2 on your pc. Is this true or complete bollocks....and if so then where can I get a TV card, if not then is there any other way?
Its def possible, l havent tried it before though This might help as well http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=27&threadid=1427559 *Edit* You can get tv cards from loads of places anywhere that sells pc bits really...
You can get TV cards from pretty much any PC parts shop, i'd look into it before buying one though, you want one which will support the PS2 input (probably phono inputs i guess), sound might have to go through your pc's line in. Make sure its a decent card or you might get crappy quality or bad picture update rates.
You can buy them, we have one for work for when we work bank holidays. Someone just brings a ps2 in and the adaptor thing is in our desk.
Thanks guys Gonna head down to a PC shop sometime and ask some dudes there about video cards. Hopefully it won't be too hard (or expensive)
