Tube travel ....Passing through London on Friday afternoon sometime, ideally want to miss the busy time on the tube. anyone know when it starts to get stupidly busy or is it like that constant?
When I was down there last week it seemed to be steady constantly. I'd have thought the busiest times would be people going to and from work like 730-830 and 1630-1800.
Nah, during the weekend it's busy all day, but during the week it's not too bad. Between about 8-9am it's always busy, and from about 4-6pm it is too. Although it all depends which line you get, and where you're heading.
im only going to be on the tube for no more than 30 minutes but last time i was there i didnt enjoy it at all!

Arrgghh, I hate the tube. Got in quite a lot at the weekend and it seemed pretty busy most of friday, saturday and sunday!! Its ssooooo hot, sweaty and dirty! Easiest way to travel around London though. 2pm seems fine, you'll be ok
you'll be fine at 2pm. rush hour on a morning is the worst, I hate going to canary wharf for work first thing on a morning, glad it's only a once in a while trip
