    I gotta get down to London next week.

    I need the cheapest way off travel, be it Plane, Train or automobile:) Any1 know of any cheap deals at the mo?

    The bus is summit like £35 retn - takes ya too Victoria im sure coz when i went to see Van Dyk @ Heaven i got it. Takes about 7hrs like to get there which ay would think sounds like Via Scotland but if ya can kip then its ok - i cant sleep when travelling !

    Trais is expensive when ya leave till last minute like and the planes same altho gotravel or summit like that have cheap retn flights to Stansted !

    try jules cheapest and quickest method tried and tested...plan to get on one train then get completely stiking drunk the night before and dont get out of bed until person your going to see rings you....then wearing the same clothes, depart...only to miss train and get on a different one...:p (talking fast makes up the time lost though)

    p.s....come and visit me im bored :(

    The cheapest and fastest way I found for Edinburgh to London is with Easy jet (flying off peak) in to Luton then getting the shuttle bus in to London for about £5. If you’re not that arsed what time you fly you can get it down to £20 each way

    vrgin trains did £20 return but now theyv switched to single tickets which are £15 each, ring them 08457222333

    Yeah the problem is i will b traveling on a friday mornin and returning on a sunday night. Kinda busy hours.

    Helz im goin to PVD@Heaven on fri nite and HHA on sat wif ken. Will be doin nowt through the day though. How far away are you from kens?

    it takes me about 20 mins to drive into watford...sort sumthign with jules cus she wanted to come over n see me too and saturday is probs a good day for that

    all i know is the sooner you book, the cheaper when gettin the train?? weird cos i always thought the more last minute u do it would be cheaper!! but its not!!:confused:

    Bus is cheapest, but slow as hell

    Plane is fast and not too dear

    Train is slow and expensive!

    national express are running an offer throughout oct/nov for students to go anywhere in the country, from anywhere, for ten squid. not bad eh?

    I managed to get tickets down to Birmingham for Sundissential 6th birthday on 2nd November for £20 return! Not sure how much it is to London but book in advance and it's well cheap!

    (BTW Jeny, if u read this, keep it quiet as trying to make it a suprise visit for Caz! John knows though...)
