    Travel Sickness

Ive just been up to town and although Ive not felt 100% all week on the way there I was reading a mag on the train and all of a sudden got terrible terrible travel sickness. In town it kind of wore off and now from the way back I feel really dizzy like I could be sick. Will this just go away or something? I feel so so vom :(

I've never experienced anything like that.. I can read or watch stuff on a train or in a car with no problems.

I think there are tablets you can buy.

you could try going to sleep for a little bit to see if it wears off..

i get travel sickness really bad, i'm ok if i stand - which i always do - even if it's empty  constant braking/accelerating from crap bus drivers and stuffy old smelly buses always make me wanna throw up.

sitting down backwards always sets me off too

i used to be real bad as a kid, couldn't go anywhere in a car, tablets always did the trick - but when i'm driving - i have no problems at all

I'm alway scared when I go on public transport in case people get travel sickness :( A girl I used to know used to get car sick even just going from her house in Dunston to the metro centre in the car :spangled: she used to take some sort of tablets,

It's probz that you're jsut a bit poorly though if you've neevr been liek that before

    Jess,

Sorry to hear about your sickness, if you suffer from travel sickness, its best not to read when travelling as this adds to it, you can try taking some ginger tablets (i aint shitting ya) these have proved to be very effective. I think you can get these from those chinease remedy shops in newcastle.

You should feel better a bit later, people with travel sickness often have to sleep get shot of the effects.

This bit wont help you but if you know someone who is travel sick, give them an asprin or an antacid as a placebo and tell them it is a travel sickness drug. In alot of cases just the thought of taking a drug to help with travel sickness will actually do a hell of a lot more than the actual drugs.

    Hope some of this helps

Do you feel tired? Dizzy? Have some lucozade and banana's! Eat some chicken, tuna, etc to get some protein in you aswell, which will also give you some energy!
