Transparent Tiffs I've had a transparent tiff sent to me which I can't open, when I view it in windows picture viewer the transparency seems to be coloured white. In photoshop (and all my editing programs) it's opening as black.... anyone know how to open it in photoshop with the transparency - transparent?
photoshop shows transparancy as the grey/white checked background If you use background eraser, does it remove the black? get it in jpeg or gif maybe?
u might have to set the colour palettes transparency if the tiff doesn't retain that data - hence why it's different colours in different packages (your photoshop must currently be set as black )
You'll find the transparency mask in the channels pallete wont you? Load that up (control click in the pallete).
Re: Transparent Tiffs Edit it and resave it as a seperate file.. then load it to see if it saves transaprancy.
