Trance ending? Think that happened about 10/15 years ago mate.

Of course it did that's why DJ Mags yearly popularity contest is always dominated by djs playing that music.

Oh and yes that was a bite.

As for the name of this night, it's toss, i hate nights that try play on the music genre they play. Just come up with something catchy and original.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion but a little support for the local scene regardless of the genre wouldn't go amiss

Agreed, Trance is far from dead. As for the event title, again everybody is entitled to an opinion, but we believe in it and are hoping for a successful night

To be honest far from it..... Tom @WHQ is a really nice bloke and couldn't be more supportive. As anywhere there's a few stipulations but overall really pleased and excited to host it there

FURTHER INFO ON OUR NEWEST LINE UP ADDITION

Andres Sanchez is the latest edition to our launch event line up. We took a listen to Andres hour long Infrasonic mix and were all in agreement we just had to have him on board. Andres will be travelling up from London for the launch event so please come along and show your support. Heres a bit of info for you:

Andrés is a half-British/half-Spanish DJ and Music Producer hailing from London, England. Alongside Producer/DJ Andy MacDougall (a.k.a Andy Tau) he forms one half of the trance/prog duo 'Opus Dei'; and one half of the trance duo Sanchez&Truby, alongside Sean Truby.

Andres has been a DJ since his university days, where since 2001 he performed under the moniker ‘DJ Pedro’. A well-travelled DJ, he has played in venues as far and wide as Surfers Middlesbrough (on behalf of Live Music Management), Tall Trees in Yarm (Collingwood College -The University of Durham- Summer Ball 2003), Pacha London (Life), Mahiki London (Digital Love), Inigo Clapham (TRIBES; Alchemy), Herbal London (Get_Twizted), MyHouse Leeds (Digital Society) and Digital Newcastle (Infrasonic).

He enjoys a variety of styles but considers himself a specialist in trance, prog trance and progressive house. He has also appeared under the guise 'Dirty Sanchez' when producing his whitelabel trance and electro bootlegs. Several of these have achieved widespread critical acclaim, most notably his remix of Marco V and Prodigy entitled 'The Loops are No Good' which was played on BBC Radio 1 by Judge Jules and supported by host of other high-profile trance DJs:

Presently he can be found hard at work in the studio alongside his long-time colleagues and legendary trance producers Andy Tau and Sean Truby, working on several original tracks and collaborations. Together they anticipate releasing a wealth of new material in forthcoming months, with interest already coming in from established trance labels Alter Ego, Spinnin’ and Infrasonic.
