    Trance tunes with Techno-esque Basslines

I've noticed the few times I've been out, there have been trance tunes with these rather catchy techno-style basslines. Where it's not too over the top, its damn good to listen/dance to and I really do love it when people like Tulip (Prime example, when he warmed up for Yoji ) drop them and catch the dancefloor by suprise. It often isn't the main part of the track, its just as the tune is 'warming up' so to speak - but do any of you know any tracks like this which do what I've described?

Example 1 - PVD @ Amnesia [220kb, Right click Save Target As]

    Example 2 - Signum - First Strike [110 KB]

Have a listen. You'll see what I mean. It's more than your average Drum and Symbol.

Thanks to Shaun for uploading the samples.

Alot of Marco V's newer stuff is like what your talking about. Try:
    Marco V - Milla
Marco V - My acid Pacemaker
    Marco V - Rise
    E-Craig - Drum Beatz(TUNE)
    Marco V - Atlanta
The Green Martian - Harmonic Minor(maybe)

Thats all I can think of at the moment Nasser m8

Go on admit it you really like techno but you're frightened of ending up looking like Ritchie Hawtin:cool:

I do like techno. In fact I'm loving some techno at the minute, same as I'm loving Hard Trance/Trance/Tech Trance/Hard House. I don't just stick to one style, I'm very open minded. But I know little about tech-trance, which is why I was querying.

    *Looks like Richie Hawtin*

as far as I know "Tech Trance" is not trance with techno sounds in it at all.

Doggie> Your right what John 00 plays is Tech Trance..... its a almost progressive style of trance.

Trance with techno samples is just hard trance to me........ or the best tracks are thee ones on the BXR label.

Nass> Your getting all mixed up! Im afraid real techno would most likely make you cry. The only way to find out is to come to Orbit.

I wasn't sure if Tech-Trance was even a genre, and although you could call it hard trance, there is hard trance out there which doesn't do what I've described. I just wanted a name for it really. Know of any?
