    Trance Classics

    Has it ever been thought of having other DJ's for the trance classics night ?

    This isnt a dig at Richard or Lee btw cos i respect the job that they are doing :p

    Trance wise i was thinking along the lines of :

    Scott Bond
    Matt Hardwick
    Judge Jules
    Tall Paul

    The first 3 i have seen play classics set @ Red & Black and they were all amazing and i cant see Tall Paul having a small collection of tunes !

    Theres obviously loads more but there just rough ideas !

    Maybe will be something that will be looked at in the future - who knows..

    The best ones ive been to were the three last year, where Tulip played a 5 hour set at each. They were all fantastic.

    Didnt quite enjoy the first couple this year as much. Think one was Kerry, Lee and Richard. The other was Kerry and Rob Tissera. Think there was another in June i didnt go to.

    Dunno bout the Judge, but wud defo like to see sum of the others. Probs not such a gud idea for this one since its cheap entry. I thought the Rob Tissera nite was pants.:D

    Very, very good idea John, should see why it would cause much of a problem apart from the reason they normally put the trance classic nights on are to save money, by not having to book a dj and his fees.
    I can't see though if they got someone like Matt, Les Hemstock, Bondy, etc why it wouldn't cost very much, but it would still be more than it would cost just for Lee and Rich!

    The Judge is mint at classic sets. His one at the last red and black was fuckin class.

    Someone like Judge Jules or Tall Paul for this would be a good idea.
    I aint seen Tall Paul play for well over a year now:)

    judge jules played the best classics set ever heard at the first red and black, but was utter crap at the last one tbh!

    The residents will most likely have just as an impressive back catalogue as the names mentioned.

    They can in most cases mix better and have had more insight as to what was a PROMISE CLASSIC than the guests.

    I think it would be more sensible to be the residents.

    I'll be at this one for sure.
