Track genre? What genre do these tracks go under? Oakenfold - Starry eyed surprise (Oliver Lieb remix) Scanners - What God has given you Go out get fucked up
Just wanna no 4 personal knowledge..wheres the harm in that. Its obvious that im gunna drop it in anyways, I wasnt gunna throw the fuckers out just becoz they arent the genre I play.
Tut tut allie calm down! Scanners does Trance and so does Oliver Lieb and usually so does Paul Oakenfold. You just finding yourself getting into this genre then?
oliver lieb doesnt do trance at all really, i'd say he is more tech-house/techno orientated and stary eyed suprise was originally a breakbeat tune by oakey, there nothing trancey about it, the lieb mix has a 4/4 so i would say its a tech-house track
I dunno about getting into, I just had those couple of records and I love mixing them into some trance, and Oakenfold dint seem trancey so I wanted to no wat it was, curiousity really! Yeh I thought it might have been tech-house. I suppose if I like that I might be getting into tech-house, if so, what should I be looking for? Same with break-beat trance, whats this? and, what should I look for to start?
tech-house, i think is pretty hard to define cos i play it usualy at the end of prog sets the 2 pretty much over lap imo cass - mind rewind justin robertson - have mercy/blister boy bt - never gonna come back down slide vs healy - sink or swim trancey break/nu skool breaks/progressive breaks - pretty mush the same thing, have a look for things on the label bedrock breaks or stuff by hybrid. check out james zabielas new album "sound in motion" thats got some wicked breaks on it, or lee combs -breaks album thats out on perfecto. all these arent really trancey but theyre pretty good, might give u an idea jmj vs hell pass - the arpegiateur bedrock - forge beat pusher - murto way out west - mindcircus forme - percussive thinking bt - never gonna come back down hybrid stuff mogui - u know y
Re: Track genre? Fucking brilliant to watch DJ - Mallorca Lee and Davey Forbes know how to rock it and give a show. Ex Ultrasonic and "Base in the place" frontman done good
