Touch & Go Tracklist... Should've really done this earlier, but this is the first chance I've had to sit and sort through my records. I think this is in the right order, although there may be one or two tracks in the wrong place: Miles Maeda - Things Are Things Cory Wells & Bobby V - Ditty Bop Freaks - Love-Hate [Natural Rhythm Remix] Inland Knights - Slummin' It MissyThing - Lick Shots Dandruff Truckers - Iz It Luv? Joey Youngman - On Tha Prowl Jodeci - Body/Style [Oh Dee & Chuck Diesel Remix] Lance Desardi - Jazz Salad Thomas Sahs - Little Dee [Paul Parades Remix] That was the first half anyway. Haven't a clue what I played in the second half. All I know is that it was a lot of Demarkus Lewis stuff...! Allie
stuff I played in vaguely the right order trankilou - chicago babe space hopper - find yourself aim - just passin' through rae and christian presenting veba - spellbound sun palace - rude movements moxie productions - undisputable dub maze - twilight alicia meyers - I wanna thank you mfsb - love is the message (Mr.K re-edit) gino soccio - try it out david joeseph - you can't hide (your love from me) derrick carter - boompty boomp theme blaze - lovelee dae (Doc's wax mix) slow supreme - green tea downtime - paper music issue 1 L.A.D.M - a greater life tone theory - the warrior chris nazuka - joy, awe, anguish, love and triumph
None taken mate It was still nice and deep at the start tbh, then Stu made me take it up a notch Stu > Wasn't the Boompty Boomp theme your last tune?
'Bumpty Bump', or 'Boompty Boomp', is a term derived from the Chicago sound, more specifically that of Mr Derrick L. Carter. Listen to one of his mixes, you'll see what I mean
it was my last tune for my first bit then i played the others later as for the boompty boomp thing, it came from derrick carters mum telling him to stop playing all that "boompty boomp crap" when he was younger then he made the boompty boomp theme and it grew from there Simon L, cheers mate it was fun to play some stuff that I never hear when i'm out especially L.A.D.M - a greater life
Stu, you are a true veteran. You need to help me to get hooked up with some of that Mushroom Jazz too...
alot of the mushroom jazz stuff mark farina plays is just b-sides and downtempo stuff by house producers, also grand central and om are always worth checking for cool downtempo stuff
it's a bit more full on than mushroom jazzy but it's ace, the "clip my wings" track kicks harder than dmx
