Cheers lads, I thought it was around that time. I hope Marco V does well too as well as Jon O Bir and Adam Sheridan. Matt Hardwick should be up there too I reckon!
Dave Pearce was better than the German in Ibiza and that saying summit, all me mates and me in say that Armin was one of the best if not the best DJ we seen there Armin
Don't think any of the house lot will hit the top 10, as usual. I think the only hope I have for underground house is Derrick Carter. Think he was about 25 last year. Sneak will probably make the top 100 (if he doesn't, a lot of people need to be shot), as will Farina, as always, but they'll both be very low. Heather has a pretty good chance too I think this year, but again, I think she'll be low. It's a conspiracy if Wooly doesn't get in there either. My votes went to Mark Farina, Brett Johnson, Heather, Wooly and Justin Long. Be interesting to see what happens there...
No its not, it just means more people are willing to vote for another DJ. I have old copies of DJ mag when house DJs used to win & nobody got out of there prams about that but as soon as trance DJs started to win people were kicking off all over the shop.
As far as I recall, a house DJ's never won it? :spangled: Sasha and Digweed have been the closest thing? I just think that people vote without thinking sometimes. People like Wooly are putting a fucking hell of a lot into this industry, and I don't think he/others in the same situation get nearly as much recognition as they deserve
tiestos blatently gonna be number 1, hes bigger than music itself now lol armins really impressed me this year, as has picotto
tiesto won it the last couple of years, i wanted to see him to see what all the fuss was about. i've seen him a couple of times now and i've not been impressed once.
