to be fair colo is bein played in central midfield so there was a fair chance he'd be shit, there's the tactical nouse of joke in here

and for all we are absolute bollocks these days, and all the shit that's gone/going on, the mackems are 3 points ahead of us, doesn't say much for you lot really does it

no surprises owen's crocked again, he was about due another injury he must've played at least half a dozen games in a row!

i'm starting to wonder whether relegation would actually be the end of the world. go down, we have the fan base to keep a good level of income into the club compared to championship sides, we've got quite a decent youth team/policy but they never get their chance due to the purchase of overrated, over paid wankers. cleanse the club of the over paid prima donna's and start from scratch.

at the end of the day, if we do stay up, the gradual decline is just going to get even more painful, unless that cockney twat gets the cheque book out in the summer, but who would want to come and play for us these days.

    rant over.

i never said anything about those two

i'm thinking more of n'zogbia who thinks he's good enough to play for arsenal, geremi who is fkn garbage, taylor who thinks since he's captain of the under 21's and a geordie he's got a devine right to be in the starting 11 at the toon, duff who's been shit for us, cacapa who's past it...

owen's a good player, i don't think anyone can deny that, he's just too injury prone, and i've never heard anyone say given is past his best to this day, if he leaves we can't complain, he's give his all to the club and we haven't progressed in the slightest

If you went down though you'd lose alot of that fan base. The only ones that would stay are the people who got duped into buying three years worth of season tickets at once, so that they wouldn't have to pay more when the prices go up the following year. Poor cunts will be kicking themselves if you's go down.

lol aye i know, poor bastards, at least they got a discount though...

well yea we obviously wouldn't get 50k in every match but we'd get more than most championship sides, along with the parachute payments for being relegated i think we'd sort ourselves out and get back up soon enough

i'm just trying to get used to the idea so i can't be as devastated if/when it happens!

yea that's the three teams a lot of people seem to say, i think as well as those three you've got newcastle and portsmouth as well, if hull aren't careful they could slip into it too

i just think when you look at our squad which is thread bare to start with, then you lose owen and barton for 2 months ish, given's away, and we're struggling to sign anyone of note, it's looking bleak

in years gone by i think we'd be well in the relegation zone, a good few points from safety, but luckily for us this season there are a few other teams who are absolutey shite, rather than just two or three, as well as everyone continuing to take points off each other which is keeping it quite tight
