    Toon to sign Phillips!!!

    a rumour coming through that sunderland have accepted a fee of £4m for phillips in the light of there financial situation, also talk of carl cort being involved in some way. A press conference is expected to be announced for tomorrow morning... :D :D ;)

    rumours fuelled even more since sunderland announced the new squad numbers last week and phillips has been moved from number 10 to number 19

    Gavin 'HARDMAN:lol: ' McCann looks like he is off to join the Villa, Blunderland have agreed a 2.25mill pound deal. They will owe some of this to Everton who had a sell on clause in Gavs contract.

    Don't think it will happen but if it does, fair enough, we need to sell him to the club that will pay the most for him! I will be gutted if he joins Newcastle but in the current situation the money is far more important!

    If we take Cort as part of the deal do we get more money? :confused:

    If we are giving you 4mill thats your lot. Carl has scored about the same amout of goals as Kev in the last 18months, but played about 40 less games.
