Need to keep him playing tho so he'll stay next season. If he doesn't get regular football he will do one then shearer is gone aswell.

Ameobi and Bellamy dont sound as good as Kluivert and Bellamy tbh

The scoreline doesnt in anyway reflect the performance, if we carry on playing like that we'll get hammered by the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea. West Brom havnt won in the premier league yet and we should be whipping teams like this easily but were not.

The game changed completley once Robert came on, it was dire before that we never once looked like scoring, dunno why he played 3 strikers it just doesnt work, we had no width whatsoever.

As much as i admire Shearer and am grateful for what he's done for the toon i just feel he's past it, apart from his goal he once again done fuck all.

Saying that Souness is still unbeaten as toon boss and another 3 points in the bag to move upto 5th so the job got done again even if the performance was crap.

yeah exactly hes playing jenas and bellamy on the wing, i cant see any width there at all. chances wont be created and no goals will b scored.

Bellamy cant cross for shit and jenas runs everywhere bar down the wing, dunno why he doesnt start Robert on the left and Milner on the right, milner looked good when he came on today. Reckon he should take a chance and drop Shearer and give Bellamy and klivert a run as well, although bellamy looked like he could be injured when he came off today.

Bobby would be in 5th place just now if he was given the chance or RESPECT!

After climbing my 7 flights of stairs I bumped into a friend and the first thing she said to me was "god, you look fucked" .. thank you Promise. ;)

I was going to put £5 on 3-1 to us but I got there canny close to kick off and all the coupon things had gone. Grrrrrr. :(

I can't see 3 strikers working for us, we're nothing without any width.. totally changed when Robert came on, and I'm far from his biggest fan.

Milner did his best to fuck up his goal like.

I thought he had missed like! He was just relieved when it went in, didn't even celebrate it!

First half was terrible! I can't see any reason as to why he left out Robert, or at least started with Milner. Where were the crosses going to come from, there was just no service at all for them. He cannot play that ever again at home, no matter who we play! It worked quite well at Southampton, but you cannot play with no width at all when at home.

Shearer did nothing apart from score, which does sound a bit stupid, seeing as he is a striker, but he's just not cutting it atm, and Kluivert for me is well ahead of him now in the pecking order.

Robert totally changed the game. He's on fire atm, it's a shame we probably won't see him much when away from home.

Special mention for Robbie Elliott. I really hope he doesn't get dropped when Johnsen is fit, because he is playing out of his skin atm, and growing in confidence with every game, Johnathon who? :p

My thoughts exactly mate, he's just not cutting it at the moment and just cos he's the greatest striker we've ever had shouldnt mean he's gaureenteed a place every week.
