Toolroom Knights, 2009’s most successful international club brand lands in Newcastle for the first in a series of parties showcasing the finest talent the label has to offer. The brain-child of Mark Knight, Toolroom Records has been growing in popularity with a continuous schedule of chart topping tech and electro releases from Dave Spoon, D Ramirez, Dirty Vegas and the Knight man himself.

The Knights are in Newcastle on Friday 23rd October with one of house music's driving forces Funkagenda, and leader of the new school Kim Fai, bringing the distinctive sound of Toolroom to a club.After hosting sell out parties at key clubs across Europe like Ministry of Sound, Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza and La Terrezza Barcelona we invite them to Shindig’s new home Legends for an exciting Newcastle debut.

In the basement, Boro phenomenon Riff Raff will host the room in their own unique style.

What sort of sound is Funkagenda playing now ? Really liked some of his sets last year. Kim Fai is decntish from what i've heard, shame Knight isn't there though.

I warmed up for Funkergenda he's proper sound lad like had a class night with him down at the Loop in London

I will be at this with a good bunch of others, one of the lads birthdays. Any additions to the club since last week in mind?

And was it just me or was it quite cheap for the grog?

yup it's cheap as chips.. well almost compared to my chippy quid a bag

Speaking to venue all the time about ideas for getting it correct.. bar area could do with being slightly darker.. and bit surround sound in bakc corner.. etc

Love these tracks, had them for a while now.... plus Sidney Blu is a bit of a hottie Her other track 'Give it up for me' is class aswell with a really deep and dirty bassline.

Will be getting along to this with a few others
