Today whats everyone been doing this derby day? got into any fights? mine's been pretty tame and have been sobering up now for about 2 hours - since it's all been too much this past weekend and all. South Shields is about 1/3 makem and they tend to go to and see the games in the town centre covertly - so no riots for me Heard there was a fair bit trouble in the Bigg Market today like, chairs flying all over the shop apparently - according to a barmaid in South Shields :spangled: The Firm's were at again apparently. and since theres 45 users online, someone MUST have something to say!
I just woke up mate lol, got in, had a kebab and fell akip at about 6pm. Doesnt look like Ill be sleeping tonight! There was about 5 police vans in Concord when I was on me way home, but there didnt seem to be any trouble

i watched the match in centurion, with about 5 mins left word spread round that mackems were on way to central, then a mackem walked in shouting "we hate geordies" and a bunch followed him in...cue mayhem!whole bar went up everything got thrown towards the doors..bouncers got full brunt of it like mackems got forced out the bar like,bit of damage done...then bar shut off,was kept inside by police for 10 mins, came out whole of central station shut off, apparently everyone was locked inside, so not sure what happened in there, but all i can say is sore losers!!
went to the goose and beyond before the match, great atmosphere in beyond, some quality sing-songs from the dj in there afters went down coco.v didn't see any bother, but there was a massive police presence down central
I dont think fighting at football has anything to do with winning or loosing, some people just like to fight

Was a canny bit of bother outside the station like. I was in Coco V after the game, went out for a cig, and ended up getting herded into the thick of it by a polis. Saw a few idiots getting coshed off the police for being a bit too lippy, one lad with his leg gushing blood saying he'd been bitten by a police dog, and saw one fucking idiot run up and smack a police horse full in the jaw, only for it not to flinch and inch and him shit himself when it nutted him.
