I know everyone is always on his back BUT is he any worse than O'brien and Elliot ??? I think not i woul dgive him a long run in the team... For me Elliot is sheer gashness and the nose is making tooooo many mistakes

Jambon would have Pav in nets, Watto, Elliot, Albert and Kilcline at the back, Beardo, Makel, Gazza and Carr in midfield and David Kelly and Shearer upfront if he could. :p

The way he didnt let anything past him for 100 or so minutes against a side as good as Chelsea was world class (maybe! :p ) defending, yes.

Tightarse had a good game but the outstanding defensive player on the pitch was John Terry, Poppins did not get a sniff all night!

Bramble got some excellent challenges in last night, vital ones too.

He's a decent player, no better or worse than any of our other central defenders, but as soon as he has time to think about what he's doing, he fucks up! And he's a confidence player so one mistake = low confidence = many silly mistakes = fans on his back = low confidence = vicious circle.
