    Timo Would Like To Know

Guys I took a phone call today from Timo and he wants to know what your favourite song is?

In fact we would like to know what tune sums up this year at Shindig?

    Err yes .........

Timo did actually ask us to ask people who come
to Shindig which tune they felt the most in
    2007

    Is that a problem?

Surely Timo is getting paid a good few grand to be choosing the tracks rather than asking us?

Jesus fkn christ, i have seen some laughable things on this board and been involved on some shit but this thread beats them all.

What's Timo gonna be doing like fkn shout outs?

"Big shout to big tony at the front, having a good time"

"Big shout to Micky n Tanya at the side, kicking it big time.

Just let it be, we know he's booked - those that are going will go and let the night be a success which it would be been anyways.....

Look let's just straighten this up

He was interested to find out what Shindig
    peoples favourite tune was

He didn't say he was going to play it

We thought the best way to find out was to ask
    this board

    Obviously not................

I'll make sure to get back to him and let
him know not to ask next time for fucks sake

Not sure when Timo played last at Shindig but I guess what he wanted to do was get a feel for the tunes that rocked the club he is playing at on NYE & to play few a few of these.

That's why I liked going to Retro @ TT when they used to do NYE there. They play tunes of the year up till midnight & then all time classics afterwards. A lot of NYE clubbing parties have become just another club night (but for more £££'s entry) & have actually nothing to do with that club night celebrating the end of the year with music that has rocked that club that year.

Same thing happens for club nights birthdays, the Djs dont play any of the tunes that made that club night celebrate "X" number years. It is seen as another angle to cash in, rather celebrate a club night surviving another year.

Well done to Timo for trying to find out what tunes have rocked peoples world at Shindig 2007. I guess Shindig residents DJ's & yourself Dave will have supply him some tunes.
