I reckon foundation will close, when people move into the flats across the way, they will kick off about the noise and it will lose its license.

But they are moving there well aware that there is a club there.

As far as i'm concerned they can fuck off! If they don't want noise they should move to the country.

Foundation won't close like. Fair enough it's losing it's busiest night, but there's still plenty of other nights.

Digital is the new name for the Powerhouse isn't it?

Completely meaningless. As soon as they're in, the power of the pound will easily sway the old giffers on newcastle council - they've probably been WAITING for any old excuse to get this 'all night rave' closed

I personally think homes are more important than night clubs i thin kyour being bias a clubber, you would not like it if you lived htere and had to move a house you loved just cos a nightclub was breaking sound laws

Yeah but you would be stupid to move next to a nightclub and not expect noise and disturbance when the nightclub kicked out.

So therefore if the person does not like noise why have they moved to live near a nightclub.

Bias has nothing to do with it common sense does.

Newcastle has too few nightclubs putting on independantly promoted nights, so to me it would be a loss to the music scene and the musical culture of newcastle.

    Foundation will not be closing
There are loads of new nights starting in september
Saturdays are looking very strong indeed
Saturdays in july + august will continue in a similer vain if a little funkier
When everyone sees the new nights coming in people will be pleased with the extra choice on offer .
