    This is the crack....

... £500 to spend on some lovely new equipment - but what to spend it on???

Blow full lot on Pioneer DJM500 mixer

    or

Buy new Gemini FX7000 mixer (£220) + good headphones (£100) - this leaves about £180 to play with (any ideas as what to spend this remaining dosh on?)

Your thoughts would be appreciated :)

Save a bit more and buy a cd deck mate:)
    Either a Gemini CDJ-30 or a Pioneer CDJ-100, both cost around £250:)

Ah hang on, did you mean buy the cd decks as well as the mixer & headphones? If you did, nice suggestion.

I've just bought a Allen & Heath Xone32 which is just over £400. Has good filter effects. Behringer have just brought out an effects processor for 100 quid,Pioneer one is probably better but more expensive

I have had mine a little while and its spot on, whatever people say on here about it take no notice unless they have had one in front of them for longer than 2 mins !

I have had nee problems whatsoever at the moment !

Looks simliar to a DJM600 and has the same amount of effects or maybe a little less, granted they are not as good like but its nearly 1/4 of the price so what do u expect :p !

    :D :D :D
