This Facebook "People you might know" thing...

Its making me really paranoid. Have my friends been hiding people they know from me for some reason? I'm just trying to work out how, when i go into somebody's friends on facebook because the software says i might fuckin know them, and to be honest i probably should, but how is it that i can go into their friends list and they have no less than 22 mutual friends, the majority of which i would class as extremely close loved "family" of mine.........and i havent laid an eye on this fucker in me life!! Not even the name rings a bell!!!!!

Is this just me, am i going nuts, is this possible? Or is there actually some strange conspiracy that leads my friends to keep certain associated identities secret from me....?....i could probably do with some sleep like aswell ....

This has puzzled me too, people I 'might' know that have 20 or mutual friends but don't recognise, I just put it down to luck / coinsidence though.

coincidence is when they only have 2 mutual friends with you. those two mutuals come from the other side of the planet from each other, never met, dont even realise the other exists in your life or anybody esles.

when they only know those 2....thats a fuckin coincidence. this shits planned man.

it seems to be a bit hit and miss this thing, I've seen a fair few people I didn't know were on facebook and have added them, however there's loads now who I don't know and have never met

i did that with myspace. you have a friend request - mint! as long as its not a punch you face request.."accept" then i realised it was as pointless as trying to explain common decency to someone who wears rockports.

thats the other thing. i'm getting people adding me from school who i never spoke to at school. WTF?! why? "Hi what you doing with your life?" what the fucks it got to do with you? i dint speak to you for 5 years of school, what the hell makes you think i'd want to speak to you now, let alone discuss me private life with you. i'm guessing nobody else spoke to them at school either.

I'm absolutley sick of that 'people you might know' thing. Most of the people on there havn't been added to my friend list for a reason! Keep getting requests from absolute bellends who I used to go to school with

tell u something that REALLY gets me thinkin with facebook. when you do a name search for an old friend from child hood, for example, to see if they've got a profile. and the search brings up a list of people with that name, starting with the ones closest to you/in ya networks (which is pretty cool) but u sometimes get one with no photo and its a locked profile. what i normally do is look at their friend list to see if i know anybody, thus figuring it out whether or not its the person i'm after. have u ever got one where it simply says at the top of their friends page "whatshisface has no friends" .....?! eh?! bit of a waste of time setting up a profile then innit. i mean, its not like i go on there to test myself with quizzes or have a fuckin zombie war or whatever the fuckin shite is. i mean there 20 minutes that kids he's never gonna get back.

hey danny people can change u know. they might have realised that they'd been a mighty cockpiece during their school years and armed with that knowledge, sorted their heads out.

but is the off chance of that actually happening worth having to think of something friendly and fun to write in reply to their "so what u doin now?" message when all u really wanna say is "are u still a cock?" :D

When i was at school some of the kids i thought were absolute bell ends i ended up being really good friends with at college.

Maybe they changed their ways or i became a bell end. Who knows?

 It's the most likely explanation to be honest, at school i was quiet. cheeky but never really gave anyone shit.

Went to college and started kicking football at goths and putting bangbus on peoples computers when they left them unattended and turned the volume onto max.
