Thinking of getting a new MP3 player....

    have got an Iriver HP120

    need....

    OGG playback
Gapless playback (or as close to it as possible)
    Good battery life
    Remote control
Touchscreen to scroll through tracks much quicker (like Windows Media Player but using finger instead of mouse)
    Atleast 20GB space

    Does this exist????

If you're using Rockbox, you can change the speed to which it flicks through sets - I've got mine set to go through a 2 hour set in about 10 seconds :D

The final version should do proper gapless MP3 playback too, as long as long encoded them properly....

    Press A-B once
    General Settings
    Playback settings
    FFWD/RWND

I've got Min Step set to 60s
    and Accel set to 2x/1s

It's probably a bit fast to be fair, but you can always change that.

    Sorry MOS!

    You should

Are you pressing A-B once, quickly? If you hold if, it brings up something else....

If i press A-B it brings up a Playlist (not holding it)

by General Setting do you mean "hold down NAVI/MENU"?

    I haven't got a clue why yours isn't working....

If I press and hold the centre joystick, it brings up playlist....

...but pressing A-B on the side brings up a menu starting 'recent bookmarks', and 'general settings' is the 3rd option down.

You need to find that menu, it's got all the stuff like crossfading and things on,

Maybe try updating to the newest version? Just extract http://www.rockbox.org/daily/h120/rockbox-h120-20050824.zip into the root directory on your player and it will work

Why has my remote control stopped working?

I can turn it on and off with the remote but it does allow me to change the volume/move tracks etc

how do you revert back to the original software?

Hold down 'record' when you press play to turn it on, and it will loads the original stuff, otherwise delete the rockbox.iriver file and .rockbox directory for a more permanent solution
