I just dont think sven will put him infront of people like owen , rooney , crouch , defoe , Bent etc

At least not based on half a season in the top half ! there is a chance that he plays so well poeple could demand he be put in but the swede is a gimp and doesnt often change his plans !

he put rooney in after less than half of a season in prem

end of day in every world cup u always get someone who has a good torunament and becomes a superstar

pele, owen, ronaldo, ronaldhino have all become superstars after world cups, imo i think this will be rooneys but u never know

if walcott has a good end to season sven mite just stick him in off the bence and he mite impress big time

defences are scared of what they have never heard of, they wont know to mark him out of games like they will do with rooney, so he will have abetter chance to make an impact

rooney will be head hjunted, he is known all over the world as one of our best players, he will have to be on top form to make impacts in games, luckily he normally can cope with tactics like that from opposition

like i say its a possibility ... but he will have to do something really special to get in and tho he has the talent i cant see him doing enough to change svens mind ! A mean who would you drop from owen rooney crouch and defoe .

    Crouch or Defoe

I still dont rate crouch and Defoes not even been playing for Spurs, hes gonna get a run now because Midos at the African Nations but when he comes back he will probably loose his place again.

If you dont start for your club you shouldnt be playing for England imo.

Good point that about the clubs because there is no way to tell how often theo will play for the gooners !

Crouch has to go to the wc cos he gives height and huge aerial threat and teams shit themselves when a nine foot gimp comes on with ten mins to go . like argentina for example ! Defoe is the closest thing to owen in terms of poaching and finishing !

they will be the strikers for the world cup imo ...

I'd take him if he plays 15 games and does well in them, but it depends on where he plays him, because wasn't he playing right wing at Southampton?

im not a footy fan (much) but i saw a few clips of him a few days back and he was like lightning!

Imagine how the world cup might have been if he was playing ....... i might have actually stayed awake during an england game ....

Shame he was in. I reckon we would have won it if we'd taken Andy Johnson instead

he never should have went to world cup that was a big mistake - johnson should have went def. walcotts gonna be class in the future tho his 2 goals for the under 21s looked like goals henry would score nd if he keeps training and learning off him at arsenal hes gonna be a similar player to him which england desperately need - oh nd he can catch pigeons!!
