the best thing is that it gets better with every series

Whatever you do DO NOT look at Wikipedia about either the characters or the programme in general. I ruined Series 3 by looking at one of the characters wikipedia page after the 5th or 6th episode

It was a sad day when I finished series 5... felt like I'd just been dumped for the rest of the day.

Aye mate i'm staying well clear of any internet banter on it.

I was even scared to look in this thread again in case of any spoilers.

I watched Rocknrolla and The Wire Season 1 in the same month and Idris Elba became my new favourite actor of the moment. Really want to IMDB or Google him to see what he's doing TV/Film wise but i'm too scared in case any searches reveal anything about him returning as Stringer Bell.

Stringer was such an immense, subtly portrayed character and he played him brilliantly.

I hope he returns in a future series, but half the fun in exploring Seasons 2-5 will be finding out if he does or not.

Lovefilm just cant deliver them quick enough for me. Nothing worse than finishing a disc at an awesome bit and you have to wait 3 days for the next disc

Gonna give this show a go sometime.

The Shield dominates the Gritty cop drama genre i reckon though
