    The TOON game

Day kicked off with a couple of beers in the local and the metro into town. Several pints later me and my old boy made our way to St James making kick off by seconds.

My seat was on level 7 right beside the Man City fans which was superb. Noisy lot whilst they were doing well for the first half hour but once Nu'castle stepped it up it all went a bit quiet. First half was pretty close, with Woodgate making a massive difference at the back. It looked to me like he was controlling the back four, something that has maybe been missed.

Half time arrived and so did another couple of pints. The second half was amazing with the goals being scored only being out numbered by the Man City fans arrests. I couldn't help but get involved in all the carry on and by the time the second goal went in I was bouncing around giving it large, I even started a chorus of "We can see you sneaking out" late on in the game. hahaha.

Thought Bernard, Shearer & Woodgate were immense. Highlight of the game was Shearer taking Seaman out in the first half or the Sunderland result being announced, the place went crazy  :king:

Ended up minging and even spewed out my Dads car window on Sunday whilst in recovery mode.

Definetly go back for more toon army madnees ... HOWAY THE GEORDIES!!!

It all went slo mo for the last couple of attempts which ended in Shearers goal.
It was good to see so called "profesional footballers" running around like headless chickens. We absolutely took the piss out of em in the end.

The likes of Fowler and McManaman should be ashamed to pick up there pay checks the way they chuck it in games like that.

Apart from that sweet volley that he put over the bar early on in the game I reckon it's testament to our back line Fowler was shut out so well. I reckon Titus is maturing into a fantastic player (apart from those wild clearances that go about 200ft straight up). Woodgate is class. Bernard amazes me everytime I see him and it's just a shame he didn't bag himself a goal. Hughes had a bit of a stinker like but we're getting there.
