I'm still in the process of going through a claim now, it's an absolute nightmare. I've done mine online though through moneyclaim.gov.uk, thinking it would be quicker that way. I've had no response from the defendant and have issued warrants and all sorts, the bailiffs are currently trying to retrieve the money now. It's been ongoing for almost three months now it's expensive as well. It's cost me £135 so far. £80 to issue the claim, then a further £55 to get the bailiffs to go around.
yes just the once , it cost me £80 to start the claim , but there hasnt been much going on since i did 2 years ago , alot of outstantding cash for nearly 3.5 years - cant remember how to or what to do as brother in law is solicitor so he sorted it. great thing is i hear the bailifs are emptying the persons house this week - merry xmas you cock
you probs get your cash back you have spent so far. for me £80 is fuck all compared to what was unpaid .
the chances of getting anything back at all are quite slim unless the money is worth NOT getting a poor credit rating for a few years for. Plus a BAyliff cant empty yr house, he cant even gain entry unless you leave the door or window wide open or let him in. I want to file one just to fuck someone over and get them a CCJ at their address but £80 is steap i thought it was £25
I hope so. you're supposed to get the money you've paid back aswell. so i should be getting around 2 grand back. No way am I letting the bloke get away with it. I thought he would have paid up before it went this far, as it's going to register against his parents address
I've had 2 people just bugger off from my flat with tenancy agreements in place, one after only 2 weeks. It's a complete waste of time even bothering to get anything from them though through the small claims court. Too much hassle, glad I took deposits, as that covers the loss I would have made. Been fortunate not to have anyone trash my place or refuse to pay the rent, so far..............
Re: The Small Claims courts Give me a chance man you harsh twat, i know i owe you for the Cocoon tickets i just havent seen you to give you the cash?
forks> where did u hgear that? they would have to come policed up id like to see two fat meatheads try and gain entrance to my gaff, Andy the Axe and Charlie the Crossbow are waiting for anyone I "think are breaking in"
• The Courts and Tribunals Enforcement Act abandons the tradition of an "Englishman's home is his castle" which since 1604 has made breaking into a home by bailiffs illegal. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2007/dec/12/whatjackstrawforgottomention
