    The Owen hate bandwagon

Hes not fit but I wouldnt drop him, no way.

The truth is he hasn't had many clear cut chances at all so how can u judge a player who is primarily a "finisher" when he had any chances?

He does look like hes had his best days tho, probally why no one would touch him with a barge pole when he left Madrid. :p

he's just lacking sharpness + a goal would give him a boost... i'd still back him in a one on one or after a crafty through ball.

i like crouch but he's an option not an answer.

I think that Argentina showed today that the flowing passing style is the best form of football..

England rely too much on the long ball scenario..
It was driving me mad last night..

he's shit. He dosent work or come deep to get the ball. We need players who are going to work for the team not the team to work for them.

    Rooney and Crouch for me.

he's had the chances over two games now, he's in the worst form of his life at the moment. Crouch has 4 goals in six games now!!

to be honest though if you didn't know crouch would you not think "hmmmm someone's lumped this beanpole into the game for the comedy value"

Bless him, he's so long and spangly :)

Owen has played a total of 110 minutes football at this world cup hes played not much more than that since december ,

But fopr people to start saying hes past it or lost it or just not good enough is all just a load of fickle bollocks and you can tell straight away who the plastic fans are that jump on the bandwagon and start getting on the guys back !

Owen is the best finisher we have , the most prolific striker we have , the best partner for rooney and the man that has sufferd the most from the tactical ineptness of sven just hoof it erickson !

owen will score goals in this world cup !
