didnt anyone sign it!!, i know someof u did cos ive still got the bit of paper in the house
how the fuck did i end up with that bit of paper, getting people to sign so they would open upstairs on friday...
dont know who gave it to me but i got loads of names and they still didnt open upstairs ..lol

Why is it that sometimes they don't open upstairs, or if they do, they only open up a bit of it? Does it depend on how busy it gets?

yeah its like that, depends on how many people are there, but for some reason, i dont know why i dont think it was open at all on friday. And someone had made a petition to try and get it open, and it ended up with me somehow

I think the upstairs should be open, and I dont mean the funky poser room but the seats.

............cos you could go up there and chill out and meet up with yo' homies (with a high quality of background music!) now you HAVE to stand all night or sit in the "council area" on the right hand side of the dance floor.

For this reason I used to go to Promise EVERY week, no matter who was on, it was just somewhere to go and hang out with good music.

Now Ill go only if theres a DJ I wanna check out..........the "hang out" facotr of Promise has gone since the upstairs was shut.

your right they is no were to hang about really when upstairs is shut, the seats upstairs need to be open every week to chill out and speak to people etc!
