    The new Lime Wire

    Is absolute shite..

    Why did I bother upgrading..

Its taking like 99% processor - happening to anybody else??

Guess I will need a new file sharing program now...

Apart from Kazaa light, what is decent?

Soulseek is gash cos of the queues....

I thought it was just mine!

Sucks all my bandwidth and all my CPU, and has a 'weak connection' if it ever bothers to connect at all.

    Arse.

DC++ is good if you get on some private hubs. You tend to get to know them from forums of torrent sites etc...

Torrents are my fave though... Especially if (again) if you find a private one...

find out what port it uses (look in the preferences)

logon to your routers admin panel (its the ip address of your gateway - find out thru command prompt.... ipconfig /all )

forward the port that the program uses to YOUR local IP address (get it from the ipconfig output above)
