    The Million Dollar Question

    Will Newcastle ever sign someone?

Who would you like? That we would have a chance of getting?

Defoe and Ashton sound like they won't be coming.

He says he wants players with Prem league experience, who don't see Newcastle as a step down. It's sounding like we're aiming really high. I'm not excited for the coming season whatsoever. I'd like the summer to last a while longer yet:lol:

its intresting to see who he's going to bring in!! he has the right ideas about not wanting any players who'll take us for a ride.

How much they got to spend?

Definately need a striker or two!! And a bit of flair in the midfield!

Surely Fat Fred's got to be in Italy at the moment doing a bit of wheeling and dealing? Fingers crossed at least.

    Fucking Dean Ashton? You kidding?

It really is pathetic, we'll end up signing a total has been who has at best 2 seasons in him, and before we even gel as a team we'll get rid of him and be back to square one.
I'll never get Newcastle, we always claim to want to be a big club but half the time just buy scraps from other clubs, then wonder why we can't beat them.

the man to blame is FFS

it's not as if shearer kept the fact he was retiring at the end of the season a secret is it?

he has no idea what the word 'planning' means

I don't understand why we're buying him. N'Zogbia is going to be amazing, it's strikers we need!

tottaly agree with you mate why spend a bulk of your money on a position that you not struggling with.

im going to be brave and say i think just give luque a chance see what he can do if we play him for like 8 straight games and get a suitable partner to play with him somene who would get the best out of him like yakubu or even baros maybe.

personally in adream signing id love carlos tevez or kuyt
