The metro what a joke it was tonight, got home at halfpast 12. took almost 3 hours to get home after work tonight. fucking shambles. metros will more than likely be off tomorrow morning aswell as the power cables have snapped.
lol they r a fuckin joke like, never forget goin to work once bk last year n all the doors were stuck shut half way over the bridge to central station n it was roastin hot day aswell. No wonder most ppl dont buy tickets.
Doesnt help that the lines get full of vandalising nobjockeys on a night time. Aint that right ya spraypainting hippy!
Isn't it pretty rare that this kind of stuff happens? It's not like the trains can just overtake a problem on the line..
They do in japan Na but i guess so, a just like a good moan about our transport system, really bugs me at times.
yeah its pretty rare it just fucks you off when your 20minute train journey home takes you a few hours
Judging by our conversations, it would just give you 3hrs to sniff some lasses hair instead of twenty mins
I'll bring that up when i see you on the metro anderzz you pervert its taken me a fair few hours to get home from newcastle before - was a couple of years ago now like - lightning struck the line and i had to walk over to gateshead interchange to get a bus back through to shields. but i suppose it happens and Rory - the doors are supposed to be stuck closed, otherwise people would be falling off moving metro car's mid journey! the door release next to the door by law has to work, however if you did open them - you'd delay yourself even more because the driver would have to come and re-set it, making you canny unpopular (saying that - i'd do it anyway and hop over the fence that's near that tunnel. or take the rare oppertunity to walk over that bridge again with an excuse)
i hate the metro i try to use them as little as possible, at least living in gateshead is decent cos your quite central to things and if the trains go wrong there are a few alternatives - i would hate to live towards the end of the oine like shields or sunderland and totally rely on the metro to get places
I get it all the time now - £3 to get me home instead of a £18 taxi fare Its much easier aswell now the High Level has reopened - just walk along from Digital / The Other Rooms to there
